Distributor to Coil and then?...Wiring Question

Sorry if this seems like a basic question but I've searched on this forum, Googled for articles & pix, read the '89 Service Manual, etc and I am still confused.

Vehicle: 89 Formula 350. Remote Coil.

I can't figure out where everything goes.

A. From the 2-pin side of the HEI module inside the Distributor, a White Connector with Pink Wire AND a Brown Connector with White Wire come out.

Where do those 2 wires go to?

B. Then the Coil has a Grey Connector with both Pink and White Wires AND a Black Connector with both Pink and White Wires.

Where do those 4 wires go to?

Appreciate the help!

the pink and white on the coil are the pink is the coil acc power and white is a tac lead. there is a jumper from the coil to the distributor icm and the other for wire from the icm goto the ecm for the high and low signal.

Re: Distributor to Coil and then?...Wiring Question

Alright, I'm really trying here. Do I have this correct?

The pink & white wires coming from the Black Connector on the coil Go To the distributor.

The pink & white wires coming from the Grey Connector on the coil Go To Ignition and Tach.

Or do I have the Grey and Black reversed?

Thx.

The grey connector with the white and pink goes on the coil the black connecter inter locks to the get connecter on the coil and attaches to the icm on the distributor

OK, that makes sense. Now I know where the black connector wires end up.

One more queston and you'll understand why I was confused.

So the pink and white wires coming out of the grey connector that is attached to the coil go to where? They are cut on mine. Where should they end?

Pink is a switched ignition, white is tach if equipped.
