My check engine light just stopped working. No light light when I loop a and b to set timing.

Any thoughts?

First off you need to disconnect the est and set the timing not jumper a to b to go into diagnostic mode. you can check the ses bulb or with the engine running you should have power on pin a5 brn/wht at your ecm

I think you need to reread you manual, you can jumper the A to B on your aldl to set you min idle speed or obtain stored codes.

read the manual. It says to jump a to b disconnect the est, set timing, pull jumper a to b, shut off car. reconnect est, disconnect neg batt for 30 seconds. to reset any codes.

Not that complicated. Still no check engine light.
