I am sixteen, don't know jack about car computers. What will this chip do? Do I need to get the Powerstat they mention as well?

Meh, I'd skip on the chip if I were you. Doesn't do much really, you can do the same by advancing your timing a slight bit and getting a colder fan switch.

The money would be better spent on other, more substantial mods.

Yeah the chip was never really a thought of mine. First thing is whole new exhaust system, but my friends talked these things up like I would fly off the ground with it. If you guys say not worth it, I believe you
