So, the symptoms are; the tach, always reads about twice as many rpms.
Until I turn on the parking and/or headlights, then the tach completely freezes adn the voltmeter totally dies as well as the right directional light staying frozen on. Its annoying. However, if I turn the interior light off, the voltmeter springs back to life, the right directional gos off and the tach returns to its normal messed up operation.
Somebody had posted up pics showing the back of the gauge cluster and a capacitor or resistor that may be the culprit. Im ready to tackle this problem and would greatly appreciate any help. thanks.
