Speedometer Cable, need sizing, ect!!

I'm looking for a Speedo Cable. 88 3rd gen, 305, Automatic, TPI. Has Cruise control, but doesn't function at the moment. Am I looking for a two piece? One piece? How long? My part place has an 80", but not saying if it's two or one piece. Help!

Should be one piece and cruise control means nothing to it. Cable is by itself. I might have a used one here from a 87 if you need it

I've only seen the 80", and a shorter one offered at my part stores. Anyone have any idea which cable length I need?

Are you looking for the cable and the cable housing or just the cable.

I think he needs just the cable. Did you end up getting one and getting it to work?

Re: Speedometer Cable, need sizing, ect!!

Since you're replacing the cable, perhaps you should simply pull the old and give it a measurement. Bought my last cable from the dealership.

Let us know how it works out sometimes a piece of old cable will be stuck in the housing that needs to come out. Just a FYI.
