Lighting glitch on 90-92 145 cluster...Need help

I hope this is the right section for this.

I'm a little frustrated with this and don't know what's going on. To make a long story short, bought a 90-92 145 cluster from my buddy who pulled it out of his car to change it for an LS1 cluster (for his new LS1 swap). Before I put it in my car, I took a few of the bulbs from my old 115 cluster and replaced a few of the burnt looking ones on this new 145 cluster. I was careful not to mix up the 194 and the 161(?) bulbs.

When I put it into my car, everything works fine except for when you turn on the headlights and the interior lights turn on, the cluster lighting is all messed up. The main two 194's that light up the outer most right and left parts of the cluster (MPH and RPM) light up fine, but for whatever reason the lights in the middle of the cluster are messed up. The blue logo for the brights and both green blinkers are partly lit up even though my brights and blinkers are off. On top of that, only one of the two 194's in the center most section of the cluster (near blinker lights) lights up fully. The center one towards the right (RPM) side of the cluster is only partly lit up, similar to the way the blinkers and bright markers are.

A friend suggested that possibly the ribbon on the back of my cluster was bad. So I swapped the gauges into my old 115 mph housing that worked perfectly...and it still has the same problem! I'm starting to think I caused an issue by changing some of the bulbs.

If anybody could help me with this I'd appreciate it. I know its not a major problem but it's irritating because I'm trying to fix the car so everything works right. Thanks.
