89 camaro rs 305. Interior lights cigarette lighter and door locks don't work I pulled all fuses and tested them on meter they are all good. I heard it could be cigarette lighter but its not blowing any fuses could that still be problem? Help please. Any suggestions?

 

Do the lights and locks work when the cigarette lighter is out? Usually it is the culprit since with old age and time it shorts itself out.

 

No I took out the cigarette lighter completely and disconnected it checked all fuses again and they are still good but no interior. Lights except for dash panel and my radio is aftermarket so that works. But no overhead light or lights from rearview mirror I do have a small light that is hanging from the left side underdash out of center console that is on but idk why the others don't work. Any suggestions?

 

Probably a stupid question but, are the bulbs good?? Only other thing I can think of is a bad ground maybe??

Yep prolly a wiring issue the guy who owned it before me f,d the wiring all up. So I'm buying an aftermarket fuse block and running everything that does not work to that one. So I'll just have two fuse blocks and I'll just label the second one so when I sell it whoever buys it will know how its wired.

 

Before you do that I know it sounds stupid make sure there IS a fuse in the VSS spot. Mine did the same thing i just overlooked there not being a fuse in the VSS spot. Its a 20Amp BTW.
