87 GTA will NOT turn off with key
Hi guys my 87 GTA now runs but it woint shut off with key i have to ground out coil to get it to turn off any leads?? thanbks in advance

could check if the alternator is backfeeding the switched
ignition-don't know about CS130 alternators,but the
older SI type need a diode or bulb in the turn-on wire
or they will feed voltage out that wire once rotating and
continue to power ignition if there is no diode or bulb
to block the backfeed.
