dye dash bulb covers blue?

dye dash bulb covers blue?
ok, so i noticed that the dash bulbs have orange covers over them. im wondering if anyone has ever taken them off and made them blue by dyeing them or spraying them with something...i want blue to match my cd player. i have used l.e.d's on other vehicles and didnt like the outcome. i really want to keep the covers and make them blue somehow...im thinking fabric dye....thanks

Dunno how well the blue paint would work but you can buy blue sleeves.
