So i just git this 89 Iroc i had to put a new engine in i got it all buttoned up started it up and drove it around then it died out due to timig but after that i tried to start it up and the starter just clicks and wont turn over the motor but if i jump the car it fires up every time and i put 3 diffrent good batterys in it and they all do the same thing

If you jump your car with cables? Like car to car?

If you have a voltage meter you can check how much voltage you are drawing when trying to start.

 

Something is up with the wires on the battery. Check engine block ground and firewall ground and chassy ground. follow wires and check for any break and rips in the rubber
