My Low Beams Do Not Work Whats Wrong?
Only my brights will work if i switch to dims no lights work but if I use my brights only the brights stay on. what are the possibilities and has anyone else had this problem?

i had similar prob recently. but in my case,,the wiring harness to the low beams were shorting out,due to bieng so old.(not sure what condition yours are in) i replaced my harnesses and prob went away.,,thats one possibility.hope it helps.

Make sure the switch clicks to the other side when you depress the lever. Sometimes the switch is worn out and does not go into (second gear ha-ha). If so you will need to replace the switch in the column.

If the Hi/Lo beam switch is the culprit, it has an adjustment that could resolve your problem. (http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=16)
Try raising or lowering the steering wheel. Does it change anything?
I would also recommend grabbing a test light and checking for power at the tan wire at the headlights (outer). If you have power there, check the connectors and also lights. There is a chance that both low beams are burned out.
