5 speed swap brake pedal question

5 speed swap brake pedal question

83 dt500 pace car. cfi auto. well i am doing a 5 speed swap and had a question. on the original brake pedal there is 3 pairs of wires.

1. orange and white.. i know these are for the brake lights on the back
2. green and grey i think. anyway these are for the cruise control so it shuts off when you step on the brake
3. pink and purple. what are these wire for? they are connected to a switch on the brake pedal. my problem is my parts car is a 84 and the brake pedal only has enough connections for the tail lights and the cruise

You are correct on your two guesses... ORN/WHI are brake lights, GREEN/BRN are Cruise control...

Pink/Black and Purple are for your Automatic Transmission's Torque Converter Clutch.
