Transmission: 700r4
tach
I have an 84 camaro that im changing the cluster out in, the one im wanting to put in has the tach in it, and i was wondering if it would work and also which wire coming from the firewall plugs into the distributor for the tach? The cluster i'm wanting to put in also came out of an 84, from what I can see the color codes are the same on both cars.

Connect the tach to the PRIMARY (non-key side) of the coil.
