Car Alarm giving problems
After installing a new clutch and starter my car would not start at all. I was having issues getting it started before; it would only start cold. We narrowed the issue down to the alarm relay, which was sending the ignition signal right back to the steering column. I found a circular key that fits right into a little key hole by my knees under the steering wheel. Once I inserted the key, car starts right up...
Now I had the trans rebuilt and new cap and rotor, plugs, wires, and tune up/timing. Car starts right up but I am wondering if I should put this key in everytime? Or never again? This was an alarm that the original owner put on and it looks like it was wired like a nightmare. Anyone aware of this kind of alarm setup?
