Looking for a couple pinouts...
I am looking for 1991 RS pin-outs for the A/T gear selector and for the rear light wiring harness.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a couple pinouts...
I don't have a pinout but I can tell you from memory which pair of wires is for what:
- the THICK tan and purple wires are for the starter safety P/N switch (the purple goes to the starter solenoid)
- the blue and light-green wires are for the reverse lights (the blue has power with key on), light green goes to the lights
- the orange/black and black/white are for the idle P/N switch for the ECM - the black/white is jus a ground and the orange/black carries it (in Park or Neutral) to the ECM
On the second connector, I am not sure about the pink wire, sorry.
But I can tell you for sure about the 4 others:
- yellow - left turn signal
- dark green - right turn signal
- light green - backup lights
- light blue - brake lights
Where is that plug located? I don't recall seeing it (which is not hard with my memory nowadays
).
If I had to guess, the pink is for the rear hatch pull-down but that's just a guess.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, I have been searching so long for this info. You are the MAN!
The other connector is located in the rear compartment on top of the left wheel well.
here is another from the other side of it.

Sure thing, glad I can help.
The brown is of course for your tail lights (park lamps).
The black, I am not sure again, could be ground or could be a signal wire for the rear hatch (I am not 100% familiar with that circuit).

Re: Looking for a couple pinouts...
I found diagrams for the hatch pulldown and it uses two wires:
- red/white for power
- black for lock release

So the wire that looks pink in the picture is probably red/white, doublecheck that.
Hope this helps.
