Hey guys,I just picked up an 87 transam but it appears to have the 83-86 headlight/parking light/foglight relay system.This system has been beyond butchered.Sometimes the light pop up..sometimes the dont shut off at all or half lights up..now they wont go down..just pulling my hair out.I have my late 87 transam that has the 2 wire headlight motors and the module on the firewall..I wired new relays for the foglights for higher current draw and that car worked 100%. Can I possibly swap that entire setup into my new transam ..does anyone have a pinout of the headlight module.I think at this point it would be best to use the good system as Im scraping that car anyway and the motors on it were just replaced last year.Currently this car does wierd things with the lights..there is a push button mounted under the dash to sometimes make the lights go down..fml.

 

So converted to the 2 wire headlight motors and headlight module..all works good now.I rewired everything back to factory and cleaned up the harness and used new bosch relays and hide them in the fenders.Now when i do my ls swap I can make it even cleaner install.This engine bay needs alot of prep work to look as nice as my other t/a.
