Transmission: 700-r4

wich wire controls the reverse lights?(on shifter harness)

HI.from what i have read..the dark blue,and light green wires on my shifter harness control the reverse lights.please correct if im wrong. my question is,,wich wire.. Drk blue or Lt. green..activate the reverse lights when the car is put in reverse. Thanks for any help.

Both
One is power to the switch ( should have 12V on it with key on )
the other is power from switch to lights ( should have 12V on it when shifter in R )

okay. thanks for the reply. but wich of the two wires has 12v on it when the car is in reverse?blue or green? i need to know because im installing a back up camera,and dont want to splice into the one with 12v when the key is on. thanks.

Not sure why you would want to ( have to remember to turn them off when going forward , ticket material )
but anything is possible
Just disconnect the wires at shifter and run to new switch
