speedometer buzzing over 35mph

Axle/Gears: 3.73
speedometer buzzing over 35mph
This only happens above 35 mph. When I'm driving and hit a bump the speedometer makes a buzzing sound. Sometimes it only lasts for a second and other times I have to smack the dash pad for it to shut up. This makes driving on the freeway very annoying. Anyone know what the problem could be?
