Could someone tell me how to hook up my stock tach. to my msd box an what color wire is it? Iam running a 6al box in a 87 iroc the msd directions are not to clear. Iam using a blaster 2 coil an I dont remember if there were 2 wires to the stock coil or not (pink or white) do I still need to hook up the magnitic pick up from the dist. also.Dist. has no points. Thanks.

Re: Tachometer Wire

the tach wire to the stock coil if this is tpi or tbi remote coil would be on the grey connector and is the white wire. It is easy to build a msd 8876.

Re: Tachometer Wire

here is a real clear picture how to wire it you can see the wires spliced together
The harness will need to be cut and hooked on to use solder and shrink timing for trouble free issues.

In need of this picture if anybody can find it. I'm trying to make the stock tach work with my 6AL-2 box. Reviews on SummitRacing discouraged me from using any kind of adapter.
