going fron TPI to 383 stroker carburated ecu ?
going fron TPI to 383 stroker carburated ecu ?
Question on my ecu. Should i pull out the ecu and the wiring or keep it in. I am confused on what the ecu will do if i keep it in the car. I know the fan switches and oil pressure and coolant temp comes from the ecu i think. Also the engine light. The old engine is out and im getting ready to drop in the new 383 stroker and the probuilt trans but i wasnt sure if i should just leave the ecu in or out. If pulled out what will i have to do to make my dash work properly. I have an 87 GTA with the digital dash and i want my guages to work.

With no ECM you have to rewire the fuel pump relay , the fans and the convertor lockup if auto
Nothing except run the fuel pump ( assuming you don't butcher the wiring up )
You know you need a non CC dist with a carb?
