help with tach fix 1990

I found a guy that had tach chips modified to repair our 1990-1992 tacs , but the thread was 3 years old ( Traviz) was his name, He has since disapeared .He had chips he said would '' fix the tachs for good " so I'm looking for a guy that has found the soulution to the tach mystery . I'm no good with electronics so telling me to solder in a capasiter somewhere wont help me. I need a chip already repaired and tested . If you can help me ,let me know $$$ Thanks . I'd rather not send my cluster "out for repair" since its only the chip . But what ever I have to do to fix it ,I'll do joelaporte111@gmail.com

i assume you read the sticky at the top of the page?take it out and print out the solution and take both to a local tv or electronic repair place.its an easy fix if you can solder and deal with small parts.
