Steering wheel airbag help?
So I want to change my boring old stock steering wheel for a aftermarket wheel in my 92 bird and my mechanic told me that if I change the wheel out then my airbag light will be on and my computer will eventually notice and shut the car off. are there any solutions for this?

The air bag light will only be on and the air bag system will be disabled. It will not shut the car down. Just like Jeffs82TA said.

Even if he doesn't agree the car won't die. At least not for that reason.
