88 Camaro Wiper connector

Hey everyone, havent posted in a awhile let alone drive the third gen.

Anyway, I'm trying to fix my wipers on my car. They worked before I did my carb swap but I never bothered to fix them. I'm tryin to fix them now and I noticed there was a plug at the bottom of the motor that doesn't have anything plugged into it, so I suspect that's the problem. But what plugs into it?

So the bottom of my wiper motor has something plugged into it, but the other end is just hanging.

I'll post a pic soon. Can't do it from my phone.

Still at a loss, went to the junkyard and go the plug that plugs into the bottom and it had 3 3 wires idk what to do with. A purple, yellow, and black. I think my grandpa cut this out of the harness when he wasn't suppose to. Help me wire them
