Car: 1989 Iroc
Engine: 5.7 TPI
Transmission: Auto
I have a question about VATS
89 5.7 Iroc. When i turn the ignition the security light sometimes stays on and will not let the car start. Other times it goes off and allows the engine to turn. Is this VATS? A friend suggested a new ignition switch and key. Is this something that might fix a VATS prob? Never had VATS before and know nothing about it.
