Oil pressure sending unit Q
Will a autometer sending unit work ok on the factory gauge? I have a 85 camaro with a tpi. I am replacing my intake and its very easy to get to the sending unit right now but don't want to do the dash work just yet for my gauges.
There is also 2 connectors there one looks like the auto meter sending unit but has 2 wires on it. Is it the for the gauge or is it the fuel pump switch? or does it do both?

Re: Oil pressure sending unit Q
Would have to check what resistance range the AM unit uses
Early TPI typically have 2 units ; a 1 wire ( round can type ) for the gauge and a 2 wire for the pump OP switch
