I bought this 84 bird a few weeks ago and it has an issue with the wiper switch or motor. The wiper arm has the cruise control and wiper mist with lo and hi speed settings with no delay markings. The lo speed was the only thing working and activating the spray would not pump fluid to wash windshield but i could hear the pump motor working. Sooo i removed the pulse board to inspect for bad solder points and found none, re installed it and now the washer pumps fluid to windshield, and now there is wiper motor delay when i turn on the lo wiper function on lever, still no hi operation. My question is that since removing the pulse board that it now proves it is indeed a wiper motor that has delay functionality ? and the column has the wrong switch and or wiper control arm installed ? Its possible that this may be a column out of a different car cause the PO has other pieced together junk yard parts on this car like the tranny cross member, springs and shocks ( who uses used junk yard shocks ? , which were blown out and old - lol) , Is there a way to tell by perhaps the wiring connector /pins/wires what the proper switch i need to order would be ?

Do they mean the amber lens turn signal lights in the front fenders ?
