Horn wtf?
Horn wtf?
I apologies now if this has been covered already...... I had my car in the shop where I work today running and all of a sudden the horn started blowing. I turned it off and it wouldnt stop, the security light was on, so I had to disconnect the battery... I waited a few minutes and hooked it back up. Started my car and it died several times. I got sick of it and gave it some gas after starting it ran funny for a second or 2 after I left off the gas then it was fine. Security light was on while it was running I shut it off and finished what I was doing started it up and took it outside security light wasn't on. WTF??? I have a 1989 camaro rs 2.8l all stock except the stero. Please help so I can prevent it from happening again or while im driving.

Sounds Abound
Sounds like 2 separate problems, altho the PO might have installed a security system which is causing your problems.
If you find no security system tied into the wiring, the horn wire in the steering column might be shorting to ground.
You can diagnose without disassembling the column by accessing the horn relay located in the “Convenience Center” located to the right of the steering column.

Connect a voltmeter from ground to the black wire at terminal J on the relay socket.
Place the meter in a viewable location while driving.
Now, the next time the horn sounds glance at the meter.
If the voltage is zero the black wire is shorting.
