89 Firebird Formula - so recently out of no where my passenger window stopped working! Maybe there was a reason (bump in road idk) but I didnt notice if so. The window used to operate perfectly, its an auto window. Now, when I press the down button it only travels so far down from the top (the same distance everytime) about 3-4 inches and then stops although if i keep pressing it tries to go down i believe as i hear this "wack, wack wack" sound. Its hard to desribe in text but thats my best. It almost sounds like the motor is stuck? IDK im no expert at all at these things. The sound is also made if I push the "go up" side of the button once the window hits the maximum distance up if i keep pressing it goes "wack wack wack" now Im not afraid to go in and fix it but i dont wanna do in blind when i know im probably not the only one whos had this happen, some help would make me immensely grateful as not being able to roll my passenger window down is horrible I live in las vegas a dessert!
