Wipers work fine but stop high on the windshield

Hi guys,

So I'm solving the little electric troubles I'm getting with my T/A, found out the radio and wiper problem came from the ignition switch. So I've rebuilt it and they both power up fine now. I'll buy a new one on my next order.

Now I'm getting a weird problem with the wipers, they work as they should in all positions, except the wipers stop in the highest position instead of stopping at the base of the windshield.
I was thinking maybe the linkage is set up wrong, but why would they move correctly then ?
Also the driver side wiper goes too far and wipes the pillar as well.

When you turn off the wipers do they stop instantly, or do they move into the area you describe the same way each time?
