distributor questions

i know i don't have the stock distributor, but i AM still noob when it comes to, well everything to do with my beaut. i want to replace my distributor cap and rotor. but i'm not sure if i would need a corresponding part to the actual distributor that's already in it. and same goes with the spark plug wires..

so the question is, do i need to order the cap, rotor and plug wires to match the distributor that's already installed?

and do i have to have a HEI distributor in my baby?

Disturbed Distributor

Most likely your aftermarket distributor takes stock type parts.

Most part stores will let you take a part out to your car so you can hold it next to the part to be replaced to see if it’s the same type.
