Went and bought a amp wiring kit wired it all up and checked if the amp was on before I set up the subs and it was so then I hooked up the subs and put a CD in to hear them then my radio just shut off.what happened? How can I fix it?

 

Have you checked the fuse in the fuse panel? Or the fuse in the back of the stereo and the fuse in the amp? Could be a bad ground on the amp? Is your stereo hardwired or did you get a wire harness kit? Also, check the amp and see if its hot. I had a Phoenix Gold amp go out on me every time it got hot, and since it was under the seat it got hot a lot. Moved it to the trunk, never went out again. I would check fuses and double-check the ground.
