Alternator Wiring
Please help, have a 1992 Camaro RS, my car is equipped with a 2 wire style alternator, I know where the RED wire goes, but where does this BROWN wire connect to, can't find a matching brown wire, so I'll have to extend it and connect it to its correct source, can you guys tell me where that is????
Thanks in Advance....

Re: Alternator Wiring
On my Z28 the brown wire is supplied from a splice in the harness that is fed off the 20A "FAN" fuse that is hot with the key in RUN and goes to the F (or I, different name on some) terminal on the alternator/generator.
If it's the original stuff where did the brown wire in the engine compartment harness go?
