VATS Bypass

What is the proper resistance for an 89 Camara 305 TBI A/T? I have it to where it will crank just not turning the injectors on. I was told you can put and inline resistor to bypass it. The resistance on the key read 4.67 ohms. But I need the proper resistance as from stock.

Unless there is a better way.

Thanks

VATS takes out both starter and injectors , if it cranks unlikely to be VATS unless someone has already bypassed the starter relay
If the ICM in the dist is faulty it will not signal the computer to fire the injectors

Re: VATS Bypass

I measured the key pellet and it measured at 4.67.
Does this mean that I would use key code 11?
