My new headache
I just purchased a 1984 Trans Am with the 305HO and 80000 miles. Everything is original. I have a few issues. The choke light stays on. I have a new altenator installed and a new battery. So I do not think those are the culprits.
My Ammeter does not work and neither does the tachometer.
Any help on whether all these are intertwined or do I need to tackle one before the other?
I am handy with a multimeter and can fix it once I head down the right trail.
Thank you in advance.

Re: My new headache
I have been looking at my service manual and have a few questions. The drawing shows that the tach, choke light, and ammeter all are on the same gages fuse. IF this fuse is good where do I go? Do I try and track down the wires? I think I read it right as a pink/something wire. the tach also has a white wire but the other two are just grounded? The wiring diagrams are kind of confusing.
