battery drain over nite, this relay??

Axle/Gears: FACTORY
battery drain over nite, this relay??
ive searched the threads about draining batterys, mine drains over nite after charging... is this the starter relay up front near battery connected by a tab??? I heard if its defective it will stay on and drain battery??? anyone have the part number or a way of testing it?? im gonna check all my grounds, fuses etc and do a parasitic test later.... hope I spelled that right ;-)

I thought the starter relay it was inside the car ?

If the starter relay was faulty and locked in the closed position your starter would be running
If there was a fault in the control side of the relay it would do nothing as that only has power going to it when the Ign switch is in the START position
