Passenger Brake light and turn signal out

Noticed my brake lights where out so i switched the bulbs and the right side wouldnt turn on. only the reverse light works on that side everything else is working fine..any ideas?

Fixing It Right

You didn’t mention the model and year so this info is slightly generic.

Recheck the bulbs, to make sure they are the correct type, and installed correctly.

A common mistake is people installing 2 filament bulbs 180° rotated.

Some crazy symptoms have been reported doing that.

If they are OK use a small bulb or voltmeter to probe at the connector located at the left rear of the car in the hatch area.

You’ll have to remove a plastic panel at the inside to see the connector.

The color of the wire in question is
light blue.

Make sure power gets in and out of the connector located at the left rear in the hatch area.

From there it goes to the lamp socket.
