VATS/Radio issues

Hi all. New person here.

Question: Does the Orange constant 12v wire from the ARC fuse connect to anything other than the radio? I noticed it shares a power input with the VATS in the fuse box, and in my vehicle was bypassed to the switched (yellow) wire via a transformer and resistor. The VATS wires to the fuse box have also been repaired with solderless connectors, and the constant power wire is partially melted and bare behind the environmental control module.

I have ordered a VATS bypass module, and everything else seems to work other than not starting and the windshield wipers. Can I run a new wire to the radio?

Nope, just the radio.

Yes, you can run a new fused wire to the radio.

WIPERS:

With the wiper unit unplugged, key in the ACCY position, and the wiper switch in the HI position, use a voltmeter or test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to probe the pink, dark green, gray, and purple wires.
Which wires do you have power on?

Happy Racing !
