Battery lost entire charge.

I just replaced my battery yesterday. I drove to work today and now my car will not start. I have an 87 IROC with the 350 engine. I just get this ticking sound when I try to turn it over. Overall, it seems I usually have a low battery charge when I look battery gauge. Whenever I take my windows down or use the air conditioning the charge drops. Additionally, when I use my turn signals or take my windows down they are always slow. As if there just is not enough power. A week ago I had to replace the heater core. Not sure if that has anything to do with my current issue or not. May I please have some advice, suggestions, or opinions regarding my issue? Thanks.

I'm guessing you don't have a long drive to work? I wouldn't drive too far until you load test that alternator because it can and will strand you on the road.

Parts stores like Autozone will test it for you for free.

Re: Battery lost entire charge.

Hey Rockguy: I do not live too far from my day job as you stated. The shop I use is also very close. I should be OK. Thanks for the advice.
