Car: 1987 IROC
Engine: 5.7 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.27s
will '99-2006 Trk. starter fit 5.7?
I have a 9000786 starter, don't know what it came out of but it was free and it works. But needs a solenoid, before I spend $40.00 on a solenoid ,I need to know if it will work in a 5.7 '87 IROC. they look the same all around but the nose that goes in bell is a tad shorter. thanks ahead for your input.
