battery relocation, alternator not charging

relocated my battery to trunk now alternator not charging enough. i'm getting 12v al the alternator with engine running. the battery is new fully charged and I get 12.7v at the battery itself. alternator itself tests good so I wonder if my wiring is wrong.
heres the wiring
2 g welding cable from battery to taylor cuttoff switch
2 g welding cable from switch to starter
4 g cable from switch to alternator
2 g battery ground to frame/ 4g ground strap to pass cylinder head and frame to front of engine
accessories connected to starter.

by the way I'm running an electric water pump set up running a march pulley system, with a march 1.75 pulley on the alternator. any ideas where I went wrong?

Re: battery relocation, alternator not charging

probably not the issue but, 0/2ga would be better from rear to front.
