Dumb question... where is the Vss on a 92 v8 automatic?

So my speedometer died on me. I currently have the cluster removed anyway as I have to do the tachometer fix so I'll check the speedo pcb as well but just in case....

Where is the VSS located? From what I've read it's somewhere on the transmission, but I've yet to find a pic so I know how to access it.

Will it be something I can replace myself or is it one of those deals where it's buried so far up there that you have to have a lift and/or remove the tranny?

I'm hoping this isn't the issue... the contacts on the speedo pcb were rusted so I've cleaned them, but just in case...

It's easily accessible on the driver's side of the tail shaft housing, Easy enough to replace as well......

Drivers side... that helps thanks.

I guess that means I've got to squeeze my fat butt under the car again.
