so this happened...

I recently bought a beater RS to fiddle with, but none of the instrument cluster works except for the backlight. So I took a gander under the dash and this is what I found! Holy crap, no wonder nothing works on this car!

Re: so this happened...

Not too bad. At least the wiring has not been butchered and re-wired with masking tape (as I discovered on my 88 IROC). If you plan to keep the car and do the repairs yourself, then you should invest in a 1990 CAMARO SERVICE MANUAL. They are available new from www.helminc.com or used on eBay. The manual lists all the wiring schematics you'll need to diagnose and repair the fun the prior owner created for you.
