Car dies at stoplight, cranks, code 46 Passkey Fault
I came up to a stop, and the car sputtered and shut off, and the CEL came on. Turned the key to start and it just cranked over, no start. After the 3rd or 4th try, it came back and once I got home, I pulled a code 46 "Pass-Key II System Error - Circuit out of Frequency Range".
I know that the Passkey system will prevent injectors from firing if faulty, but I was under the impression that VAT's wouldnt turn the car off once running.
The fuel-pump was replaced this summer, and I replaced the ignition switch a couple weeks ago.
Help!
