Starter wiring?

So I just had a new engine installed last week. The shop apparently didnt tighten down the purple ignition wire, as its not attached. Theres also a very thin gray wire the same length, not sure if its critical. I got a new Procomp starter, and am unsure of where the 2 wires go. The car is low, so I cant get under it without a lift. I can get to the starter by the side of the engine, but cant really see whats happening down there. Any ideas?

Re: Starter wiring?

On my car, my knock sensor has a white wire, which is closer to gray due to age and grime. My knock sensor is also by my starter.
