my car doesnt have a positive terminal lead
I have been working on my car trying to bring it back to life after finding it in a million pieces. The wiring harness is all good but there is no positive lead from my battery. I will be going to the junkyard tomorrow to go pick one up, just need some clarity on wiring it. The main lead goes to start right? And do I need a wire going from battery to ignition relay? Anything else I'm missing out on? Sorry I am pretty much handicapped when it comes to wiring, kinda like Shaq throwing a free throw. But yeah the harness is all there, everything is hooked up, but I don't have a positive lead from battery.

Re: my car doesnt have a positive terminal lead
I have these diagrams on my all data program, but the other ones confuse me. So to clarify, I run my main lead from battery terminal up to the starter at the same point where those 3 wires connect to? And the fourth wire goes to my ignition relay? So at the point where those three wires are, they form a junction and draw current from the main battery lead? Sorry I am very new to all of this. Just trying to see if I missed out on any thing

Re: my car doesnt have a positive terminal lead
Diagram shows 5 wires total, 4 on the large lug, 1 (purple) one a small lug (usually "s"). Large lug will have the heavy gauge from the battery, 2 wires will go to the generator (alternator), and 1 to ignition switch. The 4 wires on large lug will be "hot" at all times. The purple (gear selector) will be "hot" when tans. is in "P" or "n" or clutch when pressed in.
I'm seeing no starter relay, if you have one it would be aftermarket.
