I have a 89 iroc that needed a new harness. I put a painless harness in it for map sensor. Everything kicks on but no spark. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue when they put this harness in. Someone said I need the esm hooked up but the painless harness doesn't have a spot for the esm. I checked all the connections and they are good and power going to it.

 

What engine and injection?

 

I figured it out, ignition module. Now it's dumping way to much fuel. I'm gonna replace fuel pressure regulator, and get mem cal for a 305 5 speed. The mem cal in it is for a 5.7 auto.

 

Did you have any other problems with it? I put one in mine with the MAF system. The ECM is only sending 5v to the fuel pump relay (green wire). If I jump the relay it kicks on the pump, seems like the ECM isn't sending the correct voltage.
