Tpi crank trigger conversion
My plan is to make crank trigger conversion for more accurate ignition timing.
Car is -89 Firebird with 1227165 stock ecm.
What kind of ignition timing pulses can this ecm handle?
(what crank trigger wheel i need to get. Number of teeth/magnets)
Does conversion work like this...
I Cut wires between ignition module and magnet trigger from inside my msd #8366 distributor.
Remove the trigger and reconnect the ignition module wires to hall-sensor on a crank pulley?
How to position crank trigger wheel correctly?
