Light Bright

The SES illuminates if the ECM detects a problem in the systems it monitors.

Not all of the problems are serious.

For intermittent problems the
SES will flash then go out.

To find out why your light went on you can buy a code scanner to plug into the ALDL (
Aassembly Line Diagnostic Link) and the scanner will display problems the ECM has knowledge of, as well as give you some engine operating information.

The ALDL is located at the Fuse Block which is located up and to the left of the brake pedal, behind a small door.

Happy Racing !
