1990 Camaro RS This dangling wire connector is under the dash, driver side, far left, behind the fuse block. It makes me want to plug it in somewhere, but...It has to be the right place. Thank you.

Was your car originally an auto , that got a stick shift installed after it left the factory ? I ask cause that is the connector for a torque converter clutch switch that would have been mounted to your brake pedal (this would release the TCC when the brakes were stepped on) ....

Re: Mystery pictures Do you know where this connects?

The car was bought used by my son so I do not know if it used to be an automatic. The VIN - would it tell the tell? I got the info."5 speed- standard from somewhere but looked at sooo much that I do not remember if it was when I checked the site for understanding what a VIN means or not?
If that is what the "dangle wire connector" is for, I don't need to connect it. The other items I posted were not my doing- came with the car. But this one I could not remember if I disconnected something, & since I lost my page that I wrote out what all goes off & on in what order, then time went by when we had possible evacuations for the fires, the mind plays tricks. Thank you.
