Ignition Issues
I have a 1982 Firebird with a good starter, good battery and the engine has been cranked and started in the last couple weeks but it was an inconsistency of starting. Sometimes it would start right up and sometimes when i turned the key the starter wouldn't even click. Now it wont start at all. Please help

Re: Ignition Issues
Check the purple wire on the starter solenoid for voltage when the key is turned to start. Should get 12 volts. If not, go to the clutch switch and check for voltage at the yellow wire. Again, should have 12 volts when key in start position. If not, yellow wire goes back to ignition switch, check it there. HTH!
